Real Deal on the Bally's Atlantic City
Ballys Grand absorbed the old Claridge a few years back as well as the addition of the Wild Wild West Casino in 1997. So there are actually three casinos here. The Claridge, the oldest, sits below the historic Claridge Hotel, and was one of the first casinos in Atlantic City, its casino is medium-small, but still quite fun and was one of our favorites back in the late 1980's. The Wild Wild West is quite out of place here in New Jersey, but a casino ain't worth the ground it's built on if it dosen't have a dusty old wagon wheel somewhere on premises. The animatronic robots that are placed throughout the casino floor (and exterior) are pure hysterics. We like to stand next to em and imitate their movements for a few hours at a time until security kicks us out. Try it sometime.
Are the vibes lucky at Bally's Atlantic City?
Wild Wild West: Huge, western themed joint. Claridge: old school casino. Ballys: newer version of a standard casino. If you have to pick, you might as well hit the Wild Wild West... it's a pisser.
