History of Resorts International

Resorts International was the first casino to open in Atlantic City and was once owned by talk show host and Jeopardy/Wheel of Fortune creator Merv Griffin.

How are the rooms at Resorts International?

Resort's AC, Atlantic City's first casino boasts the largest rooms in the city with an art-deco theme. Unfortunately, the rooms are a wee sparse with the 'deco'. The bathrooms, however, are more aptly appointed.

Guests have a choice of the Rendevous and Ocean Towers. Both offer views of the Atlantic, while the best suites are in the Rendevous.

While rooms can run from $64 a night during the week, expect to tack on an additional $200 to that for a Saturday night.

What restaurants are at Resorts International?

For the Gourmet or the casual eater, Resorts offers a handful of eateries.

Capriccio for upscale Italian dining, reservations are recommended. For those who want to eat like King Artur but do not want to put up with the serving wenches or shows, Camelot can take care of you. Craving something from the Far East? Asian Spice Noodle Bar serves up mostly chinese, with touches from other corners of the Orient.

If you are just craving something easy in between your table games gamers can hit up Breadsticks Cafe or The Buffet.

Where is Resorts International Located?

Right next to the Taj Mahal and, further north Showboat, with Sands AC, Ballys and Caesars a few blocks south.

Exclusive Tips for Resorts International:

Resorts houses The Superstar Theater, which books acts such as Gladys Knight and Tom Jones.

If you are looking for a laugh, Catch a Rising Star runs nightly.

In the Ocean Towers is a screening room where sometimes you can catch a burlesque show like The Love Kittens.
