Tropicana - The Real Deal :
Massive, but aren't they all? A casino the size of a football field crammed with clanging slots, shouts from the craps table and high-fives from the blackjack pit. This is the Tropicana folks... huge and fun.
Tropicana History
Opened towards the end of the first wave of Atlantic City casino construction on November 23, 1981. The South Tower (Tropicana Tower) opened in 1988. The Quarter opened in 2004 for full on shopping junky retail experience.
Location of Tropicana:
Towards the southern end of the boardwalk, between Trump Plaza and the Atlantic City Hilton. It's a nice stroll to get to either from the Trop.

Tropicana Bus Junket Schedules
The Tropicana features slot machines attached to stationary bikes so you can burn some calories along with your excess cash.
Be sure to catch Blanche, the Singing Bartender at Tiffany.
The Rooms at Tropicana
Tropicana Tower (West, South and North Tower) rooms are older but are in process of being renovated. Havana Tower rooms are newer and attached to The Quarter.
Restaurants at Tropicana
The Quarter is the Tropicana's shopping/dining/entertainment complex. It's immensely popular and chock full of all the stuff you'd find at the Mall and other more expensive joints. If you or your significant other is a shop-a-holic, then the Quarter is a great place to max out the credit cards.
