Real Deal on the Tropicana
The Tropicana was once described by a great casino historian as the ugliest casino ever built. On the outside, indeed, the Tropicana looks like an urban prison, nothing a little paint couldn't fix though - how about something in South Beach bold? But who are we to judge a book by its cover, we don't come to Atlantic City to stare at the outside of the buildings do we? It is the inside that counts and between the covers the Tropicana has awesome in spades. Gaming, nightlife, dining, shopping and one of the stranger hotel rooms in all of Atlantic City.
Are the vibes lucky at Tropicana?
The Tropicana's casino floor ports some of the old Tropicana Vegas charm to New Jersey, but with an almost Tuscan vibe to the property. Fancy crystal chandeliers hang throughout the casino floor which is lined with more crystals, mirrored sconces and bronze painted walls. The flow of the floor is clean and clear which makes getting from place to place effortless. When cranking, the excitement here is incredible, if only they'd paint the outside and amp up the music a little. Tropicana features 4,300 slot machines in every denomination and type you can imagine from pennies, to nickels to franklins, video slots, video poker, traditional reel spinners and progressives. You name it they got it.
What casino games are offered at Tropicana?
Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Baccarat, Three Card Poker, Four Card Poker, Texas Hold Em Bonus, Let It Ride, Boston 5, Big Six, Mini-Baccarat, Pai Gow Poker, Pai Gow Tiles and a full Poker Room.
Does Tropicana have casino comps?
The Tropicana Diamond Club is in play here. The club has three tiers, Diamond Club (0 points) VIP Card (500 points) and the Trillion Card (5,000 points), the IN Card is top secret. We have no idea what it does.
