Trump Marina - The Real Deal :

Trump Marina's casino is comfortable, a little funky but still enjoyable. Trump's Gaming Corporation have announced upgrades at all their properties, and Marina's casino might need a little touching up in spots. Still its a good gamble and worth the trip.




Trump Marina History

Trump Marina has very interesting origins. It was originally built as an Atlantic City Hilton, but New Jersey Gaming regulators denied the AC Hilton a gaming license. The property was purchased by Donald Trump for $320 million dollars and opened as Trump Castle in 1985. In 1997 Mr. Trump changed the name of Trump Castle to Trump Marina and refurbished and upgraded the hotel and casino. Trump Entertainment sold Trump Marina in 2008 to a consortium of investors who plan on refurbishing and changing it's name to Margaritaville

Trump Marina is located in the Marina area of Atlantic City, across Brigantine Blvd from Borgata, The Water Club, MGM Grand Atlantic City and Harrah's Atlantic City.

The Rooms at Trump Marina

If you have the loot, and don't want to stay at Borgata, or the new tower at Harrah's Resort Atlantic City, Trump Marina's Crystal Tower is a great option for opulence and exquisitely tacky decor. Crystal Tower suites feature plush furnishings, marble floors, flat panel tv's and a ton of other gizmos. Standard Rooms at Trump Marina are also finely appointed and feature the usual in-room amenities - safe, iron, coffee maker, pay per view, stereo systems etc.. For those who wish to enjoy a bit more space and comfort, Bay Suites and Marina Suites have a bit more space, seperate sitting area and separate tub and shower stalls. Worth the upgrade price from the standard rooms.

Trump Marina offers a number of dining options including:

- The Deck - outdoor music, drinks and finger foods
- Hooters - hot wings and hot pants served daily
- Cosimo's Pizza - casual Italian dining
- The Cafe - 24/7 casino coffee shop
- Bayside Buffet - All you can eat for twenty bucks
- The Poolside - poolside snack bar

Trump Marina also has a number of fancy restaurants as well, including:
- Harbor View - seafood with a view of the Marina
- Imperial Court - pan-Asian food, mostly Chinese.
- DJ's Steakhouse - DJ as in Donald J Trump. Steaks chops with a twist.
