Borgata Renovating Rooms, Building Outdoor Smoking Lounges
Five years since it's grand opening, Borgata will redesign and redecorate all of its 2,000 hotel rooms over the next two years. That Borgata - the newest joint in town - would engage in such an extensive refitting so quickly is a testament to their commitment to keeping the property at the top of its game as new resorts/towers/refurbs open over the next few years.
Finally, competition driving innovation in Atlantic City.
Additionally, Borgata is about to commence construction of covered outdoor smoking lounges that will hopefully keep customers on their property when they've got to huff a puff, similar to what most concert venues do in states where smoking inside is verboten.
The smoking lounges will be covered but not enclosed and heated during winter months.
