The Press of Atlantic City is reporting that Cordish Company is currently in negotiations with Trop conservator Gary S. Stein to purchase the Tropicana Atlantic City.

The deal, if reached and finalized, will be worth approximately $700M.

This isn't a done deal - as what one might assume from reading this - but merely the admission that Cordish is the lead bidder and that the state appointed conservator will commence final negotiations with them. Lotsa i's and t's to be crossed and dotted.
