Wynn : EastCoastCockteasr
Steve Wynn. Artist, legend, billionaire and now EastCoastCockteasr.
Unless you've been under a rock (which, judging by the frequency of CityBoom posts over the last six months, you may assume we have been) you have doubtless heard of Mr. Wynn's pre-coital flirtations with the stalled Foxwoods Philly project that resulted in a typically abrupt pull out yesterday.
Faster than you can say "booty call speed dial," Revel, recently served divorce papers by majority stakeholder Morgan Stanley, found itself splashed all over the casino guessing game gossip pages. Journalists from the Denver Post to the Wall Street Journal all mentioning that Wynn might very well to take the distressed property to the wedding chapel (and Morgan Stanley to the cleaners.)
Another day, another jilted lover. Not only is Wynn not interested in Revel, he isn't interested in Atlantic City - at all - so sayeth Wynn VP of PR Jennifer Dunne:
We typically would not comment on rumors but given the amount of speculation, I can confirm that Wynn has no intention of investment or involvement in any project in Atlantic City.
Sayonara Wynn Revel, Wynn Bader Field, Wynn Boydgata, and Wynn Le Jardin.
