Revel Halts Construction, Lays Off Construction Crew

Revel, scheduled to open in 2010, has ceased construction and laid off workers today. The cause? Global warming, of course.

Oh wait... it's the economy stupid! Er, uh... they don't have the funding to finish the damn thing, which is odd considering they are partly owned by investment banker Morgan Stanley.

You know how bad shit is when bankers can't get funding.

Oh and you can scratch 2010 off your calendar.
