Pinnacle Officially Abandons Atlantic City Casino Project

Bloomberg is reporting that Pinnacle Entertainment has officially decided to tap out on its disastrous attempt to build a luxury casino atop the former Sands Atlantic City and surrounding parcels.

...due to the continuing economic downturn of the gaming market in Atlantic City as the result of other competing markets, primarily Pennsylvania, as well as the continued deterioration in commercial real estate values in the area

Don't let the door hit your ass on the way out.
