This restaurant space has had a few incarnations in the 10 years that Borgata has been open. It is below the main level and has a wine celler-feel to it. However, the brick walls, floor, and ceiling make it a loud dining experience. Also the small dining room makes even reserved appointments usually face an annoying wait in a loud environment. The food is remarkable in that it is not plentiful. There is something wrong about an italian restaurant in the northeast being skimpy on portions. Furthermore, with all the other fine dining options available at Borgata, this isn't #1 among them. In fact, I only consider Fornelletto when other options fall through.
